This collection of 9 short stories introduces the Bible’s life-lessons to both children and adults. Through research and imagination, I had fun giving each child in the story a name, a personality, a family. With that foundation, I considered how their experience might affect their lives. Both children and adults find it easy to see the relevance of a child's story in their own lives. Used as story sermons on Sunday mornings, congregational members were able to truly listen and comment afterwards with their own personal stories.
For example:
In “A Boy and His Lunch”, you learn why the little boy offered his lunch to Jesus and how it felt for him to see Jesus use his lunch to feed others. From there it is a short step to what we have to offer. Adults also think about the amount of trust required to offer what we have. Will it be enough? Always Jesus tells us.
Written as monologues these stories are a valuable resource for parents, Sunday School Teachers, clergy. Told to children or as story sermons on Sunday mornings, these stories captivate any audience. They added something different to vacation Bible School as well. They are easily transformed into short plays.

Bible stories are a source of wisdom for both you and your child.
The theme of all the stories in this collection is that God loves you just as you are. Each one of us is special, unique and valuable.
My goal for this short story collection is to help my readers identify with the child in each story. I believe the Bible offers us a solid foundation for living. It’s just that most of the time, we’re afraid to open it. Think about the life lessons your children are receiving today from the television, computer, movies and books. Are they the values, the attitudes, the behaviours you want them to learn?
