Making Room: A Different Kind of Courage, is the third in Janet Stobie’s Catalpa Creek series of cozy mysteries. When Rev. Linda asks Steve Grenville to share his big empty home with strangers, , Steve cautiously agrees. After all it’s only for a few days. Hospitality is a part of his faith.

His daughter Renée is not so gullible. She is suspicious of these strangers. Why did they come to Catalpa Creek? Is this a new kind of home invasion? She may be away at university but she cares.

David and Leslie have arrived with their own mystery. Homeless, no money or friends, their searching for family. Pregnancy brings change for them and for others.

Living our faith is not always easy.  Steve’s courageous hospitality makes room for change in his life, in Renée’s, and in the strangers’ lives.
